Gay Pride Miami Beach 2023: Events, Parades, and Dates to Celebrate
Miami Beach Pride is a legendary celebration of LGBTQ+ life, culture, and community - and The Sagamore is in the middle of it all. Our tropical paradise is known for having one of the most inclusive LGBTQ+ communities in the world! Here are the need-to-knows about the 15th annual Miami Beach Pride (March 31 - April 16, 2023), plus the hottest events to drop in on while you’re living it up.
“Openness may not completely disarm prejudice, but it’s a good place to start.” - Jason Collins, retired NBA player and first openly gay male athlete to play in U.S. professional sports.
Pride brings together members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends, allies, and supporters in celebration of their unique spirit and culture. Show your Miami Beach Pride with fun rainbow gear as you partake in two weeks of special events, social mixers, family-friendly community activations, and an incredible two-day festival culminating in an epic parade along Ocean Drive. Miami Beach will be decked out in ‘rainbow’ too. Colorful flags and window displays pop up all over Miami to show support and solidarity for the LGBTQ community.
“It is revolutionary for any trans person to choose to be seen and visible in a world that tells us we should not exist.” - Laverne Cox, transgender woman, actress, and LGBTQ advocate
Pride is jam-packed with events, but we’ve rounded up the best of the best.
