Things To Do this 4th of July in Miami Beach 2022

The Sagamore Hotel would like to extend our deepest condolences to the people of Surfside and the entire Miami-Dade County community after the recent tragedy at Champlain Towers South.

While Miami Beach has cancelled its annual fireworks at Lummus Park, Fire on the Fourth festival, and other 4th of July festivities scheduled out of respect for the victims and families, there are still ways to add some spark to your Miami Beach Fourth of July celebration with classic American eats, live music, and poolside fun. From spotting SoBe’s cherished red, white, and blue lifeguard kiosk to enjoying buffalo wings curbside on Collins Avenue, it’s time to celebrate the beauty and resilience of the country - Miami style. Make your Independence Day a memorable one with a variety of patriotic activities everyone can enjoy.

Listen to Live Music on Lincoln Road

Join the Miami Beach Music Festival Orchestra directly on Lincoln Road on July 3 at 7 p.m. for a spectacular evening of patriotic music celebrating Independence Day. A full live orchestra and talented vocal soloists will perform patriotic favorites, from “America the Beautiful” and “Stars and Stripes Forever” to Zarzuela songs from the hit movie, “The Greatest Showman.” Find the MMF on Lincoln Road in the 1100 block next to Doraku Izakaya and Sushi.

Dine on Classic American Fare

Celebrate the 4th of July with all-American dishes that will leave you feeling patriotic. Visit the retro 11th Street Diner housed in a railroad-style car for yummy eats. Dine on buffalo wings, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, and over 20 specialty burgers. Big Pink on Collins Avenue is another Miami Beach institution serving up tasty comfort food. Enjoy creamy milkshakes, beer battered fish and chips, and skillet-baked mac and cheese.

Find the Red, White, and Blue Lifeguard Kiosk

Of the 36 brightly-colored lifeguard stands that line the coast of Miami Beach from South Pointe Park up to 87th Street, the red, white, and blue stand is the perfect one to visit on the 4th of July. Take a walk along the coast to find the iconic stand and take advantage of the photo opportunity!

Chill out at The Sagamore Hotel

Beat the heat at The Sagamore Hotel pool. Our crystal-clear zero-entry pool provides the repose you need to get in that vacation state of mind. Celebrate America’s birthday poolside, with luxury cabanas, breathable chaise lounges, umbrellas, and a pool bar serving up innovative cocktails. After a day of swimming, lounging, and catching rays, watch the brilliant shades of pinks, oranges, and yellows that light up the sky as the sun sets over Miami.

Watch Fireworks at Nikki Beach

Miami Beach’s original beach club will celebrate the 4th of July with a seafood boil and a private fireworks show. Nikki Beach’s The Fourth Al-Fresco begins at 11 a.m. and will feature a classic seafood boil by the water complete with whole blue crab, top neck clams, Louisiana crawfish in cajun seasoning, corn on the cob, baby red bliss potatoes, and more. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
