What’s Open Early in Miami Beach
Up with the sun? While most of Miami Beach may still be dreaming, there are plenty of places that open at first light. Get a head start on the day at these early morning spots.
Morning Brew
From cortados to cafecitos, Miami Beach’s Cuban coffee scene is thriving. Get up, get out, and find a local coffeehouse for a much needed caffeine jolt. Las Olas Café and the iconic David's Café Cafecito open daily at 6 a.m., while Puerto Sagua, Playa Café, El Palacio de los Jugos, and Charlotte Bakery all open daily at 7 a.m.
Go to the Beach
Getting up early when you’re beachside has its perks. Get your coffee to go and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic for some early morning unwind time. Claim your spot in the sand before the morning crowds arrive. Burn off last night’s cocktails with a beach run. Meet up with the Miami Beach Boardwalk to get started. Beginning at Indian Beach Park at 46th Street and Collins Avenue, the trail continues south of 23rd Street where it becomes a paved surface that extends down the Ocean Drive Promenade to 5th Street. The four miles of oceanfront path is perfect for an early morning jog or stroll.
