Get Licensed in Miami-Dade County
Couples will need to apply for a marriage license together through the Marriage License Bureau of Miami-Dade County. Visit the Miami Beach District Court at 1130 Washington Ave. #200 (only a half-mile from The Sagamore) to apply. Present valid photo identification, your social security number (non-U.S. citizens may present an Alien Registration Card, or Passport number), and make sure you have enough money to cover the necessary fees. Florida residents have a mandatory 3-day waiting period before the marriage license becomes effective, so plan ahead (non-residents are exempt from this).
