The Ultimate Guide to Spring Break South Beach 2021
Pack it up and head to the warm weather of South Beach this spring. Whether you’re looking for a family escape or a hang-out with friends, SoBe is where it’s at. From where to stay to what to do, here’s your ultimate guide to spring break in South Beach 2021.
Where to Stay
You’ll want a place to kick back and relax between Spring Break shenanigans. Head to The Sagamore for some much needed rest from campus or everyday life. There is plenty to keep you entertained during Spring Break in SoBe, without even leaving the grounds - boutique accommodations, luxurious amenities, and an infinity pool deck to lounge it up with umbrellas, cabanas, chaise lounges, and poolside bites and beverages delivered straight to you. Best of all, our backyard is the beach.
How to Get Around
Keep in mind that you’ll need a method of transportation to and from all of the fun. Traveling around South Beach can be entertaining all on its own. Exploring on foot is the most convenient way of getting around to all corners of the neighborhood. You’ll find Collins Avenue, Washington Avenue, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, and the Art Deco District all easily walkable. If you’re planning to explore a wider range of the region, a car or public transportation might be the call. Ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft are a popular alternative and tend to be less expensive than taxis and rental cars. Simply download your preferred app and request a car. Alternatively, the South Beach Trolley and South Beach Local Bus are excellent ways to explore the heart of the neighborhood.
What to Do
Whether your idea of a Spring Break entails waking up in a comfortable room with beautiful ocean views, catching rays at the beach, or visiting some of the hottest bars and nightclubs in all of South Beach, there are plenty of ways to make memories (and many that don’t involve tequila). Visit the Miami Beach Botanical Garden for colorful spring floral displays or grab one of The Sagamore’s Linus cycling bikes and set out on the town for a day of exploration. Cruise the South Beach Boardwalk, Art Deco District, and South Pointe Park.
Things to Remember in 2021
Spring Break in Miami may conjure images of late nights at clubs, swarmed beaches, and college students, but it’s important to remember to be vigilant. Planning your Spring Break should be easy, fun, and safe. Miami Beach encourages visitors to vacation responsibly by avoiding crowds, practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and following the rules. Keep in mind, the countywide curfew remains in place from 12 to 6 a.m.
